Lunge Challenge - Week 2

So, some of you have been following my Lunge challenge (as I posted on facebook here: 30 Lunges, 30 Days), and with any luck, this post will end up there too.   To catch you up, in case you are not following on facebook I decided to take on a challenge of  completing 30 lunges on each leg each day for 30 days.  Why, you may ask?!   Well, I have read many articles that state lunges are one of the best leg/butt exercises to shape and tone and I want to test that theory!   I took measurements last week on March 15th - and I will re-check in one month to see if I have any results.   This week I have decided that starting TODAY, day 1 of week 2 that I will add in some hand weights to the lunges (probably 10 or 15lbs in each hand).   If you are also participating in the challenge, you can feel free to add weights as well, or of course simply do static lunges with no weights at all.
My thoughts after 1 week of doing this challenge:

-I am finding it harder to fit in 30 lunges in a day then I thought, I may start doing them right after I wake up or right before bed to make sure I complete them.

-I am not feeling any additional strength in my legs yet, but its only been 7 days - lets see in 2 full weeks!

-Completing the lunges directly after Step, RPM or Combat is DAMN hard!
